BEWARE OF MR. BAKER

SYNOPSIS

Born in South East London the same week the Nazis began bombing, Ginger Baker’s first memory was running after a train that carried his father off to his death in WWII.  It was only by committing unsparingly to the development of his music – usually at the expense of family and friends – that Ginger Baker would make sure he was never left behind again.

BEWARE OF MR. BAKER explores the many twisted stories of ex-wives, friends and children as well as a wide assortment of the greatest musicians in the world – including Eric Clapton, Steve Winwood, Charlie Watts, Mickey Hart, Carlos Santana, Max Weinberg, Chad Smith, Femi Kuti, Neal Peart, Simon Kirke, Marky Ramone and many more, all of who experienced the power of Ginger’s bass drum, witnessing first hand the drive of a man who was smashing his way through life.
